ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

Accepting applications throughout the year as needed.  Check back on our website for upcoming dates and times.
Program Length: 5 years
When you accept applications: The applicant can download and print the application, fill it out and mail or email it back to the JATC.
Do you accept online applications? Not at the moment.

For our program, the minimum entry requirements are as follows:

  • Be at least 17 years of age.
  • Provide an official transcript (high school, college, GED) indicating passing grade in algebra. If a person does not provide their transcript, their application will be put into the archives and processing will be put on pause.
  • Be a high school graduate or have passed the GED Have a valid driver’s license.
  • Make a qualifying score on the aptitude test.

Inside Electrical

Inside wireman commonly known as electricians perform a variety of electrical work on mostly commercial and industrial buildings. They need a combined 8,000 hours of on-the-job training and over 1,000 hours of classroom study in order to reach journeyman status.
