York Electrical Institute Class of 2019 coordinated a volunteer day at YWCA Camp Cann-Edi-On on April 20, 2019. The group recruited additional journeyman and apprentice volunteers to help prepare the camp for their summer programs. Improvements included flood lights on cabins, GFCI receptacles in the cabins, and new ceiling fans in the common area.
IBEW Local 229 members continue to support the camp and volunteer whenever electrical needs arise. We look forward to helping in the future and hope for a successful, safe, and meaningful season for all of the campers who visit this year.
