On May 21, 2021, Governor Wolf announced the award of $224,128 to York Electrical Institute to strengthen our Youth Pre-apprenticeship programs and increase diversity in the construction industry. As part of the Schools-To-Work Program Grant, we will help raise awareness and access to the career pathways offered in the building trades. We will provide learning opportunities for high school students to learn hands-on skills for the electrical industry and essential skills that are applicable to any career path.
